Bishop's Annual Episcopal Visit was held on Sunday, September 29th

Our Suffragan Bishop, The Rt. Rev. Susan Goff conducted her Episcopal Visit with St. Thomas on Sunday, September 29, 2019.

The Visitation concluded the nine week Cathechumenate Classes which began on Sunday, August 4, 2019.

The Episcopal Church expects those baptized as infants to subsequently make a mature, public affirmation of their faith and committment to the responsibilities of their Baptism and to receive the "laying on of hands" by the bishop.
Those baptized as adults who did not receive the laying on of hands by a bishop at the time of their baptism, are also expected to make a public affirmation of their faith and committment to the responsibilities of their Baptism IN THE PRESENCE OF A BISHOP and to receive the laying on of hands,

The Catechumenate Classes offered by St. Thomas are intended to teach: "What we Believe" that we might more fully comprehend the importance of our Baptismal Vows and to confirm our Committment to Jesus Christ.
