Candidates for Vestry must be "Confirmed" Adult [16 years or older] Communicants faithful in attendance, worship, and giving to the Church. Traditionally, 4 members are elected every year for three year terms of service at the Annual Church Meeting in January. If you believe you are qualified and desire to consideration for election, please contact the Senior Warden or the Rector.

Despite the dreary weather, we were able to distribute free books to the children trick-or-treating downtown for Halloween. Costumes were optional, but fun! THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR VOLUNTEERS! This is a traditional community outreach program for St. Thomas Church.

Eckhart Ensemble has finally Returned after a COVID absence!

Eckhart Ensemble Concert TODAY, Sunday, 2pm

The concert usually includes musical seletions by a variety of composers like: Handel and Bach. We are fortunate to frequently host: Nicolas Duchamp and Jennifer Lawson as flute soloists with the ensemble, playing such pieces as: Bach's Fourth Brandenburg Concerto.

Annual Episcopal Visit

Our last Episcopal Visit was with Bishop Ted in October of 2022

One of the Bishops in our Diocese of Virginia, visits once every 1-2 years at the 10:15 service. The Bishop Confirms and Receives those adult and youth members who have completed our Catechumenate Program. A Reception in honor of the Bishop and our newest Confirmands traditionally follows the service.
